Following initiatives are being taken in our Vidyalaya KV NSG MANESAR
REFUSE REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE RECOVER
- Reusing the plastic waste bottles as planters to grow plants
- Reusing RO water for watering the plants and for the mopping and in wash rooms
- Reusing single sided paper for printing
- Going paperless wherever possible
- In every class energy savior monitors are appointed
- Notebooks to be covered with old clothes
- Single use plastic is not used
- Not tearing the pages from the notebooks and to cross check page numbers are written on the pages and after index the next page is to be used to write a certificate and take pledge not to tear off pages and to save paper ,save trees, save energy ,save water ,save Earth for a daily reminder
- Motivating students to use steel water bottles and steel lunch boxes
- Water left in the water bottles not to be thrown but to be used to water the plants
- The old leaves are used to prepare compost manure
