Bal Vatika

As an integral part of the visionary National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya National Security Guard Manesar in Gurugram launched an innovative early childhood education initiative known as “Bal Vatika-3”. Designed to align with the principles of NEP, the program focuses on nurturing the holistic development of little learners, laying the foundation for lifelong curiosity and knowledge.

Bal Vatika-3 was launched at PM MShri Kendriya Vidyalaya ,National Security Guard, Manesar in the year 2023. Emphasizing on play-based learning, the programme aims to promote cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in the crucial early years of a child’s life.

The key features of Bal Vatika-3 are – play-based learning, holistic development of children, inclusive and welcoming environment for all children, active involvement of parents making a bridge between informal early education and formal schooling.

Bal Vatika-3 lays the foundation for early literacy and numeracy skills through age-appropriate activities and lays the foundation for future academic success. It helps children develop strong social and emotional skills. Here students read and learn in a playful way through speaking, playing together, reciting poetry, free play, circle time, storytelling, music and dance.
