    Student Council

    The Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council for the academic year 2024-25 was held on 26th September at the Assembly Ground, marking the formal appointment of the newly elected council members. The process leading up to the selection of the council was thorough and rigorous. First, candidates were selected based on write-ups submitted by interested students, showcasing their leadership qualities, vision, and dedication. Following this, the nominated candidates were called for interviews, where their potential for leadership and responsibility was evaluated. After careful consideration, the members for their respective positions were chosen.

    The event commenced with the blessings of Saraswati Maa, invoking wisdom and guidance for the newly elected council. Following this, the much-awaited badge pinning and sash ceremony took place, where each council member was officially decorated with their badges and sashes, signifying their new roles and responsibilities.

    Following the formal appointments a vibrant dance performance by the school’s cultural team added a festive and celebratory mood to the event. The performance was well-received by the audience, and the energy was contagious.

    The newly elected School Captain (Girls), Mehak Yadav, then delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of leadership, responsibility, and unity among students. She encouraged her peers to strive for excellence and promised to lead with dedication and integrity.

    After her speech, the school principal took the stage to administer the oath of office to the council members. The principal stressed the significance of leadership, honesty, and teamwork, reminding the council members of their responsibility to set an example for the student body. The council members took the oath with pride and commitment, vowing to fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities.

    The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms Rachna Aggarwal, expressing gratitude to the staff, students, and organizers for their efforts in making the event a success. She also wished the newly appointed council members success in their roles.

    The event ended on a high note, with the school community looking forward to a fruitful academic year ahead, driven by the leadership and dedication of the new Student Council for 2024-25.
